Junior IBJJF Triannual System
BJJ students can view and download the curriculum that BMAA endorses for belt testing and rank. The adult curriculum is modeled after Master Tavares and Professor’s Pimenta’s situational approach where students are asked to demonstrate techniques of their choosing provided that they answer or satisfy a particular scenario asked of the instructor during an exam (e.g. 3 sweeps from closed guard, 3 submissions from the top mount etc.).
