Youth Tae Kwon Do

Youth Tae Kwon Do
The Baltimore Martial Arts Academy’s Youth Tae Kwon Do Program is lead by 4th degree black belt Zach Harting. Our TKD program is affiliated with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation through Mr. Harting.
Tae Kwon Do has been shown to help children with concentration, self-discipline, and self-confidence. Children in Tae Kwon Do also learn to show respect for others. These traits translate to better behavior at home and better grades at school. Sensei Gary Berger, the owner, of the Baltimore Martial Arts Academy, can attest to this through his own personal experience in college; in testimonials on our site, many parents agree.
In addition to character development, our Youth TKD program teaches forms, self-defense and sparring. Children are prepared for and encouraged to compete in local tournaments, if they express interest.
Our Tae Kwon Do program is the only one among our 20 other programs that has classes during the week for both kids and their parents at the same time. Currently this class is offered on Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 PM & Saturdays 8-9 AM.
